The BRCA and Messalonskee High School: providing real-world experience (in the classroom) for our students!

This fall our Messalonskee Science department joined up with the Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance (BRCA) to expand our practical-experience learning opportunities for our students.  We were pleasantly surprised with the work the classes did during the fall semester.  Check out the class blog which highlighted the work done in the limnology class.

We are excited about expanding this partnership in the future to include summer learning experiences, expanded support in classes through guest lectures and expanded depth of offerings for our students.  Check out the BRCA newsletter where our partnership was featured.
