One Response to Plan on Healthy Eating in the New Year

  1. Eileen Fingerman, M.D. says:

I applaud your efforts to encourage healthy eating. However the information you post comes from the “Dairy Council”, whose mission is to promote the consumption of dairy. Medical evidence is mounting about the adverse health consequences of consuming dairy products. Humans are the only species to drink the milk of another species. As I tell my patients, cows milk is really good for one thing…baby cows. It is designed to take a small, scrawny animal and turn it into a large, fat animal. Even if one consumes only organic dairy products, you are still being exposed to high levels of natural growth hormones that are cancer promoting.
According to a recent study in the British Medical Journal, women who consume three or more glasses of milk per day had a 60 percent increased risk of developing a hip fracture and a 93 percent increased risk of death.
