ALL SPORTS BOOSTERS: FALL TEAM ELECTIONS will take place at the awards banquet, this THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6.
The fall sports will elect their Board member and an alternate at the awards banquet this Thursday, November 6th. In order to provide consistency as the new Boosters takes shape, the elected representative will serve for the remainder of this year and all of next year. We recognize this may exclude parents of current seniors who do not have another child on the team. Nominations (by others or self-nomination) will be accepted on Thursday followed by voting. Parents of athletes in the classes of 2016, 2017, and 2018 will be asked to vote for their representative and alternate for the remainder of this academic year and the 2015-16 academic year during the individual team awards presentations on Thursday.
See below for details about eligibility and the role and responsibilities of team representative.
Must have a child or ward on the official roster of the sport he/she is representing. Should the athlete be removed from or quit the team, the alternate team representative will become the team representative.
The role of the team representative is to serve as liaison for the All Sports Boosters with the coaching staff and parents of team regarding support and business of the All Sports Boosters. Representatives shall uphold the by-laws of the Messalonskee All Sports Boosters and adhere to the policies of the Messalonskee Public Schools.
