MMS Joins an Olympic Athlete in the Ice Bucket Challenge!

Today we recognized the 13th anniversary of the 9-11 Terrorist attacks on our country.  One of the things that I mentioned to our students today is that there were many courageous citizens on 9/11 who did small and big things to help others.  Since that time many men and women have served our country and been involved in actions intended to keep us safe.  It is amazing to me the dedication these individuals and their families demonstrate as they make sacrifices for the benefit of other people they do not even know.  We said thank you today at MMS for that dedication and courage.

Each year we have a theme at Messalonskee Middle School (MMS) to help us keep a common message to your learners throughout the year.  In the past we have focused on Reading, Writing, Anti-Bullying and although those are still areas that are important and we continue…
