They finished another impressive season ranked 16 out of the 164 teams who competed in New England this year.
They are also bidding for two prestigious awards: District Chairman’s Award and Engineering Inspiration Award.
Winning either of these awards will give the team an automatic bid to the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis later this month!
If you would like to watch them compete live, check out www.nefirst.org to see the webcast! Both awards will be announced Saturday evening.

Starting on Thursday, Infinite Loop will be competing in the Qualification Rounds, which will happen Thursday afternoon, all dayFriday, and Saturday morning. Once the Qualification Rounds are over, the team will take part in the alliance selection, followed by the Elimination Rounds on Saturday afternoon.
Tune in for an exciting weekend of very competitive robotics! And cheer on Infinite Loop!
Update 4-10-14 on the first day from Miss Luce:
We arrived at the arena around 8am, and we had our robot running very quickly. Our practice matches looked pretty good, but the shifter that controls our punch stopped working several times, which was very frustrating.
The good news is that we are very good at fixing it.
The bad news is that we are out of parts to fix it with!
Fortunately, we have so many good friends competing with us that we have a plan to get us through!
We had three matches today.
Our robot looked very smooth in all three matches, but when the punch doesn’t work, we can’t control the ball in the same way.
We believe we have it fixed for at least a few matches now, and we are hopeful that we can continue to fix it with the supplies that are coming from other teams.
We have a VERY long day tomorrow (Friday), not only with a lot matches, but also with our very important Chairman’s Presentation at 11:20am. Think of our amazing presentation team at that time and send them good vibes!
