The Messalonskee Library has worked hard to bring engaging activities and events that help build our school community and encourage students to get in our library and engage with books (even those some of us book aficionados might not necessarily be interested in reading).
Mrs. Jadczak and the MHS Library crew have come up with the idea of bringing the vendors into the high school to have students decide what books to buy! On Wednesday February 26th sales people from Bull Moose Music and Books will be bringing in a display of graphic novels, anime, and comic books to the library during Academic Support time (AST). Students will be able to review the work, ask questions, and ultimately select titles to be added to the library collection.
In addition during AST on Wednesday, March 5th – MHS Alumni Avery Richter will be coming in to do a live cooking demonstration and tasting session for students (space limited so sign up in advance!)
