Messalonskee HS in the News!

Learning is about more than the acquisition of knowledge and skills, it’s about the application of that knowledge and skills.  This is one of those times when the students and faculty bring it all together to make a difference in the lives of people (and in this case, animals) in our society.

Bill Smith is new to Messalonskee, but he’s not new to teaching by any stretch.  Following a career in the military Mr. Smith taught for several years in the Gardner and Boothbay school districts as a Shop/Industrial Arts teacher.  He and his students recently made the news for their philanthropic effort with the Waterville Humane Society.
