MHS Students Learn about Locally Grown Foods

Melissa from Barrels Community Market exposing MHS students to a variety of locally grown foods

Melissa from Barrels Community Market will be providing a “taste and tell” to students during lunch on Tuesday, March 20.  This continues our popular programming providing education to students about local, fresh, nutritious foods. Previously, the students have sampled French-Canadian ploys, honey, locally-baked breads and spreads, apples, cheeses, squashes, fiddleheads, carrots, and other  tasty tid-bits from local food producers.
